Job Overview

A Sales & Marketing Specialist is typically responsible for a broader range of activities that encompass both sales and marketing functions. They are involved in developing and executing marketing strategies, conducting market research, creating marketing materials, managing campaigns, and coordinating promotional activities. In addition to marketing responsibilities, they may also handle aspects of the sales process, such as lead qualification, customer relationship management, and supporting the sales team.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage assigned prospects and/or clients using customer-focused selling techniques and cultivating stronger sales/membership/channel relationships through prospecting, lead follow-up, and relationship development.
  • Create and develop sales strategies to enhance business growth.
  • Delivering staff and clients product demonstrations and taking the initiative in resolving problems.
  •  Providing precise sales projections and directing resources to meet targets.
  •  Recommend improvements and changes as appropriate to company sales policies.
  •  Analyze, evaluate and assess sales territories for own products or services.
  •  Understanding customers’ needs and identifying sales opportunities.
  • Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers.
  • Researching and qualifying new leads.
  • Closing sales and achieving sales targets.
  • Keeping up with product and service information and updates.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Marketing, or similar relevant field./Related College Diploma or combination of education and experience
  • Open for fresh graduates interested in pursuing their career as sales and marketing role
  • Familiarity with key sales and marketing concepts such as market segmentation, target audience analysis, branding, positioning, marketing channels, and sales funnels 
  • Proficiency in using tools like Google Analytics or other analytics platforms is beneficial.
  • Knowledge in social media platforms, content marketing, email marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), and analytics tools to support marketing efforts.
  • Understanding of basic data analysis and the ability to interpret marketing metrics
