About the Role

Job Overview

A Content Writer creates interesting and instructive content to support companies in showcasing their services. Conducting in-depth research on topics associated with the company and coming up with ideas for new content forms and editing and reviewing articles. They produce the greatest written or visual content from blog posts to press releases, social media posts and they write on a variety of topics.

Key Accountabilities

  • Conducting extensive research on topics related to the industry so as to provide original content
  • Producing written content for the company website, blogs, articles, product descriptions, and social media posts
  • Supporting the marketing department in formulating content for ad campaigns
  • Evaluating the content for inaccuracies and discrepancies specifically ensuring it is free from grammatical and factual errors and also follows brand editorial guidelines to achieve consistency
  • Enhancing readability of current content via editing and polishing 
  • Implementing SEO industry standards and keyword research to boost engagement to the business website
  • Developing attention-grabbing headlines and paragraphs to draw in the target audience
  • Assessing client demands and suggesting new content to fill in any content gaps for the company
  • Establish strategies for process development and implement them
  • Conducting reports regarding project performance
  • Researching  and publishing in-depth articles on a range of pertinent topics


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, Marketing, English, Journalism, or any related field.
  • Proven content writing or copywriting experience
  • Expertise of design applications such as Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Fireworks, Sumo Paint, Adobe Photoshop, etc.
  • Ability to lead and manage team members and independent contractors
  • Recognizing the graphic design principles and current trends
  • Keen eye on details
  • Thorough knowledge on typefaces, color schemes, and layout
  • Outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Expertise of the criteria for both digital and print artwork
