Rajeev Rakshit Joins Leo Burnett India as Executive Director in Bangalore

Leo Burnett India, part of Publicis Groupe India, strengthens its presence in Bangalore with the appointment of Rajeev Rakshit as Executive Director. Rakshit brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success to the agency, particularly in fostering strong partnerships with prominent Bengaluru-based clients such as Ikea, redBus, Kingfisher, Heineken, Lenovo, Acko, and Flipkart.

A Return to Familiar Grounds

This marks Rakshit’s second stint with Leo Burnett India. He previously served as the agency’s Executive Director from 2006 to 2010. During his earlier tenure, Rakshit demonstrated exceptional leadership by overseeing operations in Bangalore, Chennai, and Delhi. He also spearheaded new business initiatives and launched the agency’s third brand, Black Pencil, in Delhi.

In his new role, Rakshit will play a pivotal role in advancing Leo Burnett India’s strategic objectives. He will focus on enhancing client relationships, delivering innovative solutions, nurturing talent, and driving sustainable growth. He will report directly to Amitesh Rao, CEO of Leo Burnett- South Asia.

In his previous roles at Mediology Software, L&K Saatchi, JWT India, and McCann Erickson, Rakshit acquired a diverse range of experiences. These experiences have equipped him with valuable insights and skills that he now brings to his new role. His extensive industry knowledge and forward-thinking approach make him a valuable addition to Leo Burnett’s leadership team.
